Amanda was inspired to work as a physiotherapist following many years of ballet and seeing dancers cope with their injuries…

Amanda is an overseas-qualified Physiotherapist with Post Graduate Diploma in Manual Therapy and Posture. With over 6 years of experience treating musculoskeletal disorders, sports injuries and rehabilitation she has decided to improve her skills by coming to Australia. This interest was enhanced by her own personal sporting involvement including growing up as a dancer. Amanda has always been passionate about movement and the body’s anatomy. Pursuing this interest, she further developed her knowledge in Pilates by Breath Education in 2017. Also, she got certified with Progressing Ballet Technique developed by Marie Walton-Mahon.

Following her studies, she started a Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy with Harvest Education Technical College in 2019, and completed courses in Dry Needling, Cupping, and Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization. She has proudly worked in Queensland Ballet for 2 years as a Remedial Therapist.

In 2022, Amanda finished her master’s degree in Exercise Science at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), and now she is pursuing to finish her general registration as a Physiotherapist in Australia.
